Board games date back to a time around 2500 B.C and is one of the first of its kind, discovered around 1946 by Leonard Woolley in the royal tombs in what is now called Iraq. It was called 'The Royal Game of Ur', which depicted the city of Ur where Abraham lived, way back in biblical times.
