How Teddy got its name?
Well, a teddy bear, as we now so affectionately know it, got its name from former President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt who was nicknamed ‘Teddy’.
It is cute and cuddly, and lies quietly in a corner. It doesn’t mind being pulled by its ears or swung around with its limbs. It just looks at you with eyes filled with love and concern that always goes unmatched. Most people prefer naming their teddy bear according to their physical features, which means a brown bear is most likely to be called Brownie, while an extremely plump teddy bear can be named Chubby. Then, there are some who like to name them with regards to their place of birth like Benny which is Bennington in short. You can name your teddy after someone close to you or your favorite character after all, if teddy likes it you would too, isn’t it?
